Maybe we should stop doing it for free from now on,we should be issued lisences to deal with the problem birds. Then there should set charge/fee for our time. Apart from gamekeepers who get paid to do it, doing it for free is always going to look like it's a hobby.

It's a conspiracy by the anti's and snowflakes to ruin shooting in this country every way possible. Fortunately they did not succeed with the 50 cal ban a few months back, as usual they got there facts wrong. The shotgun contingency is way way bigger than the firearms shooting. Our governing bodies need to join forces and nip it in the bud asap. Sack all the dogooders and snowflakes and have a portion of shooters running the likes of NE so we have somebody on our side otherwise we're peeing into the wind, fighting among ourselves isn't going to sort anything... All this is a pile of poo.....

If it wasn't enjoyable nobody would do it....! These organisations should feel lucky there are so many willing helpers that do it for free at their own expense.....!!!!! It always was that you were not suppose to shoot them for sporting purposes....! Why not...? The rules have always been stupid and now there even stupider 🤪

I can't see the point of it as it's not dealing with the problem just temporarily pushing it to somebody else,these birds will feed regardless no matter how many gasguns are out there, starving them of food could be classed as cruel too.

They definately need to reinstate the lisences until they have new ones set up ready to roll but I can't see it suiting us anyway. It will be a kangaroo court scenario with all the anti's involved which in turn will be bad for us all, I find all this rather depressing and is probaly the thin end of the wedge 🙄
