  1. Readvertising my Volquartsen 10/22 at £700. Will however be taking out the CST last round automatic hold open kit. Rest is the same. The elusive Volquartsen 10/22 is the Corvette Stingray of 22lr semi autos. End to end precision machined and match grade - unlike the cheap clanky ruger 10/22. The bolt on this has no lateral movement and the bullet seating surpasses all but the most high end bolt guns. This has the UK unique 12.5 inch barrel and achieves half inch groups at 50 yards - It has been a prize possession however I have a 22magnum version on order which will replace my rimfire guns. Am the sole owner and the gun has fired about 200 shots in its life. Does not include scope or mod. Based in Somerset.
  2. That's practically a give away! Could just put a red dot on it, take off the stock and store in back of cabinet.
  3. I think those are Winchokes, also compatible with the Mossberg 500
  4. Custom Shooting Technologies automatic last round hold open kit for the Ruger 10/22 rifle. This is for my Volquartsen TG2000 trigger group, though am told with a bit of bending and/or filing it also works in the standard ruger one - it actualy looks the same as the ruger version I had before though I never compared side by side.Sale includes 2 modified magazines required for this and also a butler creek high capacity magazine which I modified myself - this one won't achieve hold open but can be used as otherwise.
  5. The ubiquitous Ruger 10/22 is the Ford Mustang but the elusive Volquartsen 10/22 is the Corvette Stingray. End to end precision machined and match grade - unlike the cheap clanky ruger. The bolt on this has no lateral movement and the bullet seating surpasses all but the most high end bolt guns. This has the UK unique 12.5 inch barrel and achieves half inch groups at 50 yards - you will actually feel like you've been mugged by all the 22 LRs you grew up with. It has been a prize possession however I have a 22magnum version on order which will replace my rimfire guns. I ran it for a while with a standard ruger barrel before putting the VQ one on hence the hogue stock is also quite new. This gun is also fitted with the Custom Shooting Technologies automatic last round hold open kit - I am providing 2 of the modified magazines which it needs to work and also a 25 round butler creek magazine with which it won't achieve hold open but does still fit - obviously you can take this kit out if you want (it's v easy). Overall the gun has fired about 200 shots in its life and less than 50 with the barrel. Does not include scope or mod though I might sell them separately. Somerset based.
  6. These are brilliant guns. Not sure I'd never sell my .17 version of this.
  7. Good guns. Always buy a gun with the barrel threaded into the receiver if you can - this is not the case with the more cheaply made 455.
  8. You are confusing this with the automatic bolt release, which is indeed a cheap fix. He would know about it if it was fitted.
  9. Does this one have the power custom bolt with last round hold open? They have that in the newer ones.
  10. That seems terribly cheap unless it's had tremendous use. Surely it's worth more than a new Ruger 10/22 at very least.
  11. What about my 12g camo barrel for sale? Then you could use it for hunting too..
  12. If you swap your 20 for a 12 I have a nice spare camo barrel
  13. I have a barrel for sale you could trim to 24 inches.
  14. If you get a 12g pump I have a camo barrel for sale. It's much better to have a normal barrel to keep handy.
  15. People are failing to look ahead. Lead shot will be banned and in a steel shot world 16 is the new 20. There is a beautiful dark actioned 16g browning 525 in my local. With 30 inch barrels I haven't picked up many shotguns so nice handling and proportioned - very tempted..
