I've done a batch of x25 in x5 round batches from 1.39gram (21.45gn) - 1.43gram (22.07gn). Max load listed is 1.62gram (25gn). Want to test that range in small increments then once something stands out, work on the neck tension and seating depth.

Using N133 - seemed to be the good middle ground for a varied weight range and it was available in 1kg tubs locally (£125). Have 100 Sierra 55gn blitzking heads to try, working up in very small increments from the starting load to see what works.

Hi Rim Fire, 1-9 twist. I've tried PPU 69gn and it didn't like them, but It was more the ammo than the bullet weight, over pressure, blown primer etc. fired a few and started to notice stopped at the blown primer. Finding it hard to find any factory ammo or components (that aren't in larger qtys at least) locally in varied weights to try out.

If they don't dip, they get around 550W from me! You can nearly hear the retinas sizzle. I drive an L200 and have LED dips with proper cut off, and set correctly (pass MOT no issues). Maybe the elevated position helps in terms of glare, but for the most part I tend to drift the focus to the verge when meeting oncoming traffic and this helps, sort of looking away and past the glare. Not 40 yet but years of looking at screens is starting to creep up on me I think, have to squint the odd time especially when tired.

Does it mount to the scope objective ring and how do you see the range or isi intended to be picked up by an ATN scope and displayed on its display?

x1 grey long range 17hmr on a farm with sheep.

Most know I shoot, neighbour to one side was one of my references and my boss the other! The children don't know, only young and don't invite unwanted attention/loose lips from them, in slip, out to car, they have no clue. I try to promote shooting, don't have to kill things I tell them but for the technical end of target shooting or the fun of just having a go at the clays. I do mention the conservation, pest control (control not eradication is what I lean on) and that after taking a number of foxes out of an area I now see more cute furry animals running around. Seems to help their attitudes more.

The HMR is good enough for the job at 100yrds, you could use the hollow point rounds if you can get them, 20gn I think and try them against the ballistic tipped 17gn. I got the .223 with a wildcat moderator and it is a bit louder than the 17HMR but never had a complaint or heard other animals spooked at night with it. I use it on areas where I have shots out to 800yrds (not that I go beyond 250yrds, run out of talent quickly at that point).
