I use hot water and 3-5 squirts of Cilit Bang in mine, works a treat. I do realise Cilit Bang states it should not be used with brass, and sometimes you see a small touch of pink inside case necks, but this has caused no problems at all.

Hi mate now I only had a Conquest 6.5-22x50 but the zero on that was not very centered in the adjustment at all! Infact, my zero (@100m on a .308) was halfway between the center of adjustment and full UP. leaving me with less than 1/4 total adjustment to dial the bullet drop - not ideal when the scope is 1" tube and didn't have much total adjustment in the first place. I did some Reading on the net and it seems I wasn't alone! Quite common infact on the Zeiss conquest. I wonder if it's a zeiss thing? I sold it in the end as I wanted to shoot 1000m an it wouldn't get me anywhere near! :( I got a Nightforce in the end.

Still for sale guys yes. Edit - Groups very well btw, the best I had myself was 3 rounds in a 5p peice at 100m The local bunny population are less than impressed with it

Guys, had someone interested in the scope, whilst I'd rather sell as a package if any one wants rifle & gear minus the scope and mounts it'll be £315 + rfd costs. Jim, doubt I'll split it unless whoever buys the rifle doesn't want it. Will bear you in mind though :blink:

The stocks on the CZs are floated from the factory, but tend to touch a little on the front RHS, so thats been addressed . PS. My hard case doesn't come with it, it's just there for the pics

I agree the Cobra Merlin is a great bit of kit, use mine all the time! Steve - I went out with Vince the other night and I'm sure he's shown you his NV setup on his 22-250, its absolutely unbelievable, definately got me wanting to upgrade from my Merlin to something Gen2/3. Only problem is I fancy a new dedicated rifle for it, dunno if SWP would allow me Fox on my .308? I have deer on the land I shoot (Muntjack and Roe) but don't stalk or shoot them currently.

Not been in at all, but have been in the reserves and held RMQ and WI qualifications etc, wasn't even mentioned come the FEO interview, I'm sure it did count in my favour in his mind, perhaps a bit more satisifed than with a civvy with no experience. To be honest though, if your clean and have good reason, you'll get a FAC whether your civvy or military! Doesn't seen to make any odds.

I'm also in the market for a T3 Tactical or a TRG om 308 I noticed theres a £700 T3 Tactical with about 30 rounds through it with Moderator and Muzzle Brake on GunTrader - sadly its a 20" barrel version, and I want to shoot out to 1000m with it, but It'd be perfect I imagine for the 600m you want to use it for! Not seen any reasonably priced SH TRGs at all Theres a new one for £1799 again on Gun Trader. Hope you find what your after, and if you see any 24" T3 Tacticals let me know!

Cheers for the replies guys! I'm warming more to the T3 Tactical now, just cant seem to find a .308 24" one! . Having seen MuscleFox's from the BBS and some pics/reviews on the net now I think its a lot of rifle for the money! Theres one on Gun Trader for ~£700 with only 30rounds through it, with a Muzzle Brake and Moderator, but its the 20" version It'd be for target use mainly so no worries about the weight

After either of the above, preferably a TRG in 308 but may consider a Tikka T3 Tactical in 308 (must have a ~24in barrel though, not 20). Cheers
