If you can use System restore to go back to before you un-installed McAfee, then do this. Then try to update virus definitions and run a full scan.

When did you un-install McAfee? Do you know how to use System Restore?

If the landlord and his associates have unlimited access to the property, I doubt whether that would be a proper tenancy. The firearms must be kept in a secure location, out of view from "casual" visitors. Would the landlord and his associates be "casual" visitors. I doubt if an FEO would grant a SGC or FAC if you live in a bedsit or other accommodation without a secure tenancy!

The type of accommodation you live in could be taken into consideration. As would the type of door, window locks etc etc. I live in a flat. I have a SGC and 1 shotgun. My FEO has advised me that if I were to buy another 3 guns I would have to upgrade my door to a 5 bolt deadlock type. If I lived on ground floor I would also have to fit window locks.

Peter, Although I'm not quite in Pin's league. I am also looking into your problem. As Pin has already asked, I also would like to know which router you have. Also do you have PC-guard installed on both PCs.? Pin, Virgin media software, such as PC-guard, often has a habit of interfering where not needed in my experience!
