stubby
its funny how creative you can become, from reading other peoples posts, and starting out in pidgeon shooting, after a few trips out just sitting under low boughed tree's, I put together a small "blind" using parts of an old pergoda we had on the rubbish pile, 4x 6ft legs a cross member and a bit of camo/realtree netting and bob's ya uncle, used it last week and it did the job great, my first pidgeon coming down into the decoys within 10 minutes of setting it up anyhow, I then got onto the idea of a floater, the plastic full bodied decoy and the dremmel came to mind, some mouse mat type material that I got from god know's where, and old old fishing pole, with a bit of pergoda tube at the bottom as a stake, a bolt in the pidgeon, keeps him returning to level
Cosd
Theres something about making things yourself and then trying them out; When they work you get a buz..... The ironic thing is that most the stuff we pigeon shooters spend our hard earned on looks like it was knocked up in a garage anyway!
TonySmith
British ingenuity at its best.... Is that a Mitchell pole you used..?
stubby
Is that a Mitchell pole you used..? no idea, not into fishing, a mate gave my kids a load of fishing gear a year or two back, its been in the garage ever since, so that sort of fell into my shed
