People,

I got a call from an old friend today. He has looked after an old man who lives opposite him for the last 15 years. He makes his breakfast and dinner every day so he hasn't had to go into a home.

He died two weeks ago and my mate has inherited his house and belongings. (lucky man, but well deserved for the love and care he has given this guy).

Anyway, he called me today and said 'Dazza, I am up in the loft of this house and there is a safe, and in it is a gun.' Not knowing anything about guns he was bricking it. So I popped around after work and its a Mossberg 500 pump 12b with adjustable choke on the end of the barrel.

I have it now in my poscession and will be taking it tomorow to have it signed onto my cert. ???

(also got bags of very heavy carts too)

So what do you lot know about these guns. I have never seen the adjustable choke before, are they any good?

All probs now solved.

It had an alluminium stop in it so could only accept 1+1. this just clipped out and its now a 2+1.

Took it to local rfd today and they are holding it and will check its history and find out where its registered. I should get it back tommorow all signed over onto my ticket.
