utectok
my mossy won't fit in the 1/2 gun cabinet as the silencer is too long I can remove it to fit the barrels in but it would be easier to just put the butt and action in is this ok? Some one once told me parts of a gun were fine to post etc so surely the barrel on it's own is no risk?
steve_b_wales
Can't you break the gun down and put it all in?
Lloyd90
As steve has said, when you take it apart... put both parts in
beatingisbest
You need to have a shotgun licence to buy barrels and to buy a spare barrel it needs to be on your licence so in other words yes they do need to be locked up. utectok
My gun case will take a most guns broken in two but niether the barrel on it's own or the action fit on it's own. The action fits if u unscrew the magazine tube and the barrel fits if you remove thhe silencer. My 12 g fits in two parts easily as

Mungler
Or cheaper still, >>here<< for a junior hacksaw kit
Dougy
Or cheaper still, >>here<< for a junior hacksaw kit now your just being silly that will very possibly be breaking the law if you shorten the barrels. Do NOT cut any off the barrels cut it off the other end
utectok
Ok managed to get the barrels in the cabinet, They just fit in a diagonal front left to back top sort of way. Still have to remove the mag tube out of the action to fit the butt section, this is relatively simple procedure though.
