henry d
I went back after 10 days to a field of fodder rape and it`s really starting to grow fast now but still the pigeons are coming in,soon it will be too tall to land in and hopefully the peas will be ready soon after.Just wondered if anyone is still getting decent numbers.I ended up with 40 and as I had 70 earlier(and I won`t sell for 15p to anyone)I thought it time to pack up. Deako
Found three fields being hit HARD a couple of days ago; wheat field, adjoining rape field, adjoining wheat field, each around 30 acres in size, and somewhere between 6-7000 birds hammering **** out of it!! Hard to tell how many flight lines, but at least 8 strong, regular routes with constant, multiple traffic... Guess what I'm doing in the morning? Lady L - Stow
I have been ringing round my friends over the last week or so to see if any of them would come shooting pigeons over swathed rape. None were available and so I had to go on my own. I tried to cover 3 fields on my own without much success. If any other pigeon shooters would like to come shooting with me, they must be able to get away and short notice, be very keen and they must not be intimidated by a Lady shooter. shawn9914
lady l put your location in your details and then people will know where you are you might be from the shetland islands and that would be too far for most to travel cheers shawn
Lady L - Stow
I live near Stow on the Wold and I have quite a bit of land to shoot pigeons over. I have been out a lot recently shooting over swathed rape. Now that has been harvested I am shooting on the rape stubble.
