GAME DRINKS Applejack Rabbit Ingredients: 1 1/2 oz Apple Brandy 1/2 oz Lemon Juice 1/2 oz Lime Juice 1/2 tsp Maple Syrup Method: Combine with ice and shake well. Sugar frost glass, strain in drink and add ice. Jack Rabbit Ingredients: 3/4 oz Yukon Jack 1/2 oz Cherry Brandy 1 1/4 oz Sour Mix Method: Combine with ice and shake well. Strain and serve straight up. Elk Ingredients: 1 oz Dry Gin 1 oz Prunelle 3 drops Dry Vermouth Method: Combine with ice and shake well. Strain and add ice. Eager Beaver Ingredients: 2 part Rum 3 part Kahlua 1 part Cointreau Method: Shake with ice, strain into a highball glass. Serve in a Highball Glass Stubbly Beaver Ingredients: 1 oz Absolut Vodka 1 oz Irish Cream Butterscotch Schnapps 3 Crushed Ice 1 Fill with Milk Method: Add each ingredient over ice and stir. Garnish with a Hersheys Kiss attached to a toothpick, with a butterscotch lifesaver on top. Serve in a Highball Glass Polar bear Ingredients: 1 1/2 tbsp Amaretto 4 tsp White creme de cacao 1 tsp Chocolate syrup 1/4 tsp Vanilla 1 1/2 cup Vanilla ice cream (softened) Method: Preparation : in blender, blend amaretto, creme de cacao, chocolate syrup, vanilla and ice cream until smooth. Pour into 6 ounce glasses. Makes 2 drinks Koala Bear Ingredients: 1 oz Creme de Banana 1 oz Brown Creme de Cacao 4 oz Vanilla Ice Cream Method: Blend liquor with 1-2 scoops vanilla ice cream. Granish with ground nutmeg. Serve in: Coupette Glass Ice Bear Ingredients: 2 part Finlandia Vodka 2 part Blue Curacao 3 part 7-Up Method: Fill a tall glass with ice, layer the Finlandia Vodka and Blue Curacao, top up with 7-Up and stir. Serve in: Collins Glass Gin & Bear It Ingredients: 1 oz Gin 1/2 oz Beer Method: Blend ingredients and serve. Swedish Bear Ingredients: 3/4 oz Vodka 1/2 oz Dark Creme De Cacao 1 Heavy Cream Method: Pour over ice in a chilled old fashioned glass and stir. Serve in: Old Fashioned Glass Polar Bear (2) Ingredients: 3 oz Vodka 1 oz Blue Curacao Method: Just blend with ice in a highball glass. Gummy Bear Ingredients: 1/2 oz Amaretto 1/2 oz Grenadine 1/2 oz Melon liqueur 3 oz Orange Juice 3 oz Pineapple Juice 1/2 oz Southern Comfort Method: Fill rest of glass with pinnapple and OJ on the rocks with a splash of 7up. Serve in: Highball Glass Panda Bear Ingredients: 1 oz Amaretto 1/2 oz White Creme De Cacao 1/2 oz Dark Creme De Cacao 1/4 oz Chocolate Syrup 3 dashes Vanilla Extract 1 scoop Vanilla Ice Cream Method: Fill a Blender with all the ingredients. Blend on low speed until smooth. Pour into a brandy snifter. Bull And Bear Ingredients: 1 1/2 oz Bourbon 3/4 oz Triple Sec 1/4 oz Grenadine 3 dashes Rose's Lime Juice 1 slice Orange 1 Cherry Method: Combine with ice and stir. Strain and garnish with fruit. Grizzly Bear Ingredients: 1 oz Southern Comfort 1/4 oz Grenadine 4 oz Grapefruit Juice 1 wedge Lime Method: Combine ingredients and stir. Fuzzy Bear Ingredients: 1 oz Absolut Vodka 1 oz Kahlua 1 splash Cream 1 splash Cola Method: Combine with ice and shake well. Strain and add ice. Bear Hug Ingredients: 3/4 oz Kahlua 3/4 oz Sambuca 3/4 oz Grand Marnier Method: Layer liquors in the order they are given. Russian Bear (1) Ingredients: 3/4 oz Creme De Cacao 1 1/2 oz Vodka 1 tbsp Cream Method: Combine with ice and stir. Strain and serve straight up. Russian Bear (2) Ingredients: 2 oz Vodka 1 oz White Creme De Cacao 1 oz Light Cream Method: Shake, strain into Old-Fashioned glass Brown Bear Ingredients: 1 oz Brandy 1 oz Kahlua Method: Combine ingredients with ice and stir. Bear Glue Ingredients: 1 oz Amaretto 1 oz Vodka Method: Combine with ice and shake well. Strain and serve straight up. Fox River Ingredients: 2 tsp Dark Creme De Cacao 1 1/2 oz Rye 2 dashes Angostura Bitters 1 twist Lemon Method: Combine with ice and shake well. Strain and add ice. Garnish with fruit. Blue Fox Ingredients: 1 oz Blue Curacao 1 oz Southern Comfort Method: Layer liquors in the order they are given. Comfortable Squirrel Ingredients: 1 oz Southern Comfort 1/2 oz White Creme De Cacao 1/2 oz Creme De Noyaux 3 splash Cream 1 dash Nutmeg Method: Combine ingredients with ice and stir. Chocolate Squirrel Ingredients: 1/2 oz Amaretto 1/2 oz Dark Creme De Cacao 1/2 oz Frangelico 1 1/4 oz Cream Method: Combine with ice and shake well. Strain and serve straight up. Brown Squirrel Ingredients: 3/4 oz Amaretto 3/4 oz Dark Creme De Cacao 1 1/2 oz Cream Method: Combine with ice and shake well. Strain and serve straight up. Pink Squirrel Ingredients: 2 oz Creme De Noyaux 2 oz White Creme De Cacao 2 oz Light Cream Method: Shake, strain into Highball glass Pink Squirrel (light) Ingredients: 1/2 oz Dry Gin 1 tsp Creme De Noyaux 1 oz Lemon Juice Method: Combine with ice and shake well. lord_seagrave Posted September 13, 2005 Report Share Posted September 13, 2005 Dog's Nose INGREDIENTS: 12 ounces Guinness (room temperature) 2 teaspoons brown sugar 2 ounces gin Freshly grated nutmeg, for garnish INSTRUCTIONS: Pour the Guinness into a large sturdy glass and heat it on high in a microwave for about 1 minute. Add the brown sugar and gin and stir lightly. Add the garnish. I remember reading in a book by Tom Sharpe (the follow-up to Porterhouse Blue I think) that the Dog' Nose is roughly half-and-half ale and gin :( If you survive, let me know what it's like...
