pigeon controller
I stand all day and enjoy the action I'll sit down when I get old.
wymberley
Stubby, Hi, As we've seen, standing is better but if it is necessary to sit, because of one's posture it's normal to shoot high. A conscious effort to lean into the shot sorts it. Good luck
Imperfection
I always sit when shooting and normally use a plastic drum with cushion, but recently i've started taking a directors chair cos they're much more comfortable and i dont end up with a numb bum. Lez325
The swivel bucket seat arrived and has been tested in the field and Im pleased to to report it works a treat- its just high enough to stand as and when required (18") the swivel part is smooth enough for left to right birds ( me being a left hooker) not so good the other direction though- can't seem to manage that- howver I try to get the wind directly behind me so most shots are taken with the birds coming head on  I do like the back rest type of seat but this bucket seat will do for now and I can carry nets and cart inside- although all of my shoots are accessible with my 4x4 so carrying gear has never been an issue for me- drive up set up and hide the vehicle under a tree- seem to work out ok Les
