Dunkield
OK so searching hasn't produced much in the way of results, so I will ask here. About half a dozen of us will be looking for a Saturday morning shoot 3rd weekend in December. Anyone local'ish have any suggestions? I know Jon D says the Burchett's Green one may be up and running again then so that is one possibility, worse case we can go to a shooting school, but in fairness you just get what you get at good shoot for double the money. I can't find the details of shoot out the back of West London Shooting School, does anyone have a link please?

JonD
I know it's a bit further but Bisley Shooting Ground now do pay and play, 30p a clay for non members. Anyone shooting must have SGC & BASC\CPSA etc insurance. http://www.bisleyshooting.co.uk/content/in...4&Itemid=91 No further info on the BCA one currently: http://www.bca.ac.uk/pdf/clay_pigeon.pdf Jon. nick_c
I went to Bisley Shooting Ground yesterday, very quiet, just did my own thing. I am new to the sport but, there seemed to be a good selection of traps. Shot way to many cartridges, but will definetely be going back. Nick. nick_c
At ac sporting targets can I just turn up on my own and shoot? Do they have a claymate system? Is it much cheaper than bisley? Never been there, any info is most welcome. Cheer's Nick.
Catamong
Yes. No, thank God, a real live buttoner / scorer marks your card. Probably. Look at the website, well worth a visit. Cat.

Reefcat
Hey Nick Must of been you I had a chat with around stand 8 or so. Did you have a go at the cranes/towers? Don't think I managed to hit any of the high ones. 30p a bird seems to be more or less standard around here, and Bisley does have a good selection of targets, at least for my modest ability. Cheers - Bob
nick_c
Hello, yes that was me, nice to meet you. I did have a go down the bottom to the tower, and no I did not hit any, did not hit many crossers either. Like I said I am new to the sport and found there to be a wide range of targets to suit my needs. I liked it because I could shoot as many or as few clays at a stand as I wanted to, also as I am billy no mates when it comes to clays, I can shoot there on my own. The shoot local to me charges about £25 for a round of 100 sporting, the 5p extra per clay did not make a huge difference when I concider the options I had at bisley. Nick.
