Delbert
Just put down the December edition of SG particularly the article about ZZ Trap I've known about the discipline since I started shooting clays but never seen it being practiced. Now according to the comic there are only 4 layouts in England but there is rumoured to a be fifth likely to open in 'The Stockport Area' so are they just blowing smoke or has anybody heard a whisper ? Chard
ZZ Trap? Norman Sidebottom of 42 Edgeley Road, Stockport is selling a ZZ Top album on Ebay. That'll be it
Catamong
Far too pricey for Northern Numpties at £1.50 a bird, they won't pay that for a pint of Boddies, it'll never take off, (excuse the pun). It's only us effluent Suvverners that can afford to shoot ZZ's. Cat.

Ian E
Maybe it's Worsely, it would explain why a lot of the traps were empty on sunday.

Peter De La Mare
Was considering giving it a go, until I read up a little more on the costs and how long it takes to shoot! Needless to say, I'll give it a go when I no longer find Sporting birds a challenge, which might be some time !! :(
Delbert
Looking at that clip I can see our 'mercan pals have it sorted with reusable targets so no doubt they don't get skinned for it . I haven't shot clays regularly for a few years being a committed rough shooter but what did tick all the right boxes was a 20 bird flush mixed clays pairs and singles that The Grouse used to put on, thrown from the highest trap down over the guns and for amusement a two man 40 bird now that is the business. :( :( :( :(
