MM Posted November 11, 2009 Report Share Posted November 11, 2009 my wifes other grandfather was a US serviceman. Such a nice old boy, and after a bit of coaxing, would answer SOME questions. I remember asking him what was the worst thing about the war for him. Expecting him to say the death, or the missing his family........he said..."I hated powdered eggs" Im going to ask the father in law if he woulndt mind passing some military momentoes down to this side of the family, as we dont have any.
