Highlander
Try this site :good:http://www.britishdog.net I bought a Sports Trainer by Sports Dog that you can run 3 dogs off at a time. Not cheap but a brilliant piece of kit. One of my dogs just wouldn't return to heal but after a single days rough shooting (where I handled the dog but did not shoot) he got the message. In fact after one 'hit' he was returning to heal simply on hearing the buzzer without the need to 'hit' him again. The trouble is it works so well you don't need it after a while and it's obselete...so now we need more pups to train

flytie
I bought and used the PAC collar, and would recommend it to anyone. I like the way the handset is mated to the collar, and there is no way your dog can be shocked by anyone else pressing a button on their handset. I do not like to see a dog out on a shoot with one on, but if you have a particular problem with a dog and all other methods have failed, they can be a godsend! I pressed the shock button five times in total, I provided an incident in training to provoke the dog to misbehave and she did. I had remedied the problem in just five sessions. I kept the collar on her for about a month before I realised that i was keeping it on her for the peace of my mind, not because she needed it. Used carefully and with discretion they are a worthwhile aid. It has since helped two dogs become steady to livestock, thus saving their lives! ft
