NEW DOG

Im going to pick up my new springer spaniel tomorow and i carnt wait to get him it . Im just not looking foward to the 15 hours round trip thats with out stoping for long.

The dog is in carlisle and im in essex i put it in the sat nav and it told me seven and a half hours

I remember when i went from Bristol to Aberdeen to get my 1st Springer and we hit thick fog coming back all the way down from Birmingham....o what joy

He is ment to be fully trained maybe he could drive him self down or catch the train

Thanks mate i will let you know how we get on. I had a good day today mate i was pleased how i got on with the 28 bore just a shame russ was not there to get things sorted out a bit better plus we would have had a few more dogs.

Just think to yourself its a small amount of time compared with a lifetime of friendship. Mine was an 11 hour round trip.....worth every mile. Well done for showing so much commitment from the start. Good luck and many happy years.

Best of luck with it all and hope it goes well. With a journey like that i hope he's good got my first cocker a couple of weeks back at 14 months part trained and he's great, can't get enough attention hope the weather is alright for a drive like that in a day

Thanks to every one who sent in there reply's . Well I set off at two am I met my mate who was coming with me we decided to go in his car as it would be a lot cheaper than tacking the disco. The weather was not looking good as it was starting to rain by 3 am by the time we got there it was tipping it down not nice. We found the farm where the dog was no prob the chap took us out to see how the dog worked after that we sorted the paper work out and was back on our way home by now the weather was terrible high winds and tipping it down with rain to top it all. I eventually got home at 5.30 PM totally knackered but hopefully worth it so now all I have to do is bond with the dog and get him working for me.
