Hello guys .

Thought it was about time I introduced myself , I have been active on the "Sales" section , so thought it was only polite :good:

I brought my very first air rifle , a El gamo thing in .22 , must have been shooting all of 3ftlbs!! with money that I saved when I was around 11 ages of age , When my parents noticed that this wasnt a phase that I was going through , and was going to stick to it , they brought me a BSA super metor .22 for christmas a year of two later .

With some instruction from my Dad (who's Ex forces) and later from the army cadets , I slowly started to learn how to hit what I was aiming at .

Joined the Army at 16 and shot for my Regt when a junior leader , And again when I joined my Battlion , Attended a sniper course but got pulled away at the start of test week to give evidance in a court case  (long story)

I used to shoot at Havant rifle and pistol club whenever I was on leave , and had the good fortune to meet and make friends with Malcolm Cooper the double gold medal winner , who was also a member at the same club . He gave me plently of truely excellent advice , and my shooting much improved with his help .

After leaving the army and not doing too much in the way of shooting for a few years , I finally got back into it , and a few more years down the line , I decided to appliy for my FAC , but only to get a FAC rated air rifle , yeah right , that lasted all of 2 minutes , by the time my paperwork went in I was asking for a FAC rated air rifle , a .22 rimfire and a .17 HMR , so thought I may as well get a SGC while Im at it! :hmm:

Its taken me a while , but Ive got around 2000 acres dotted around over 6-7 places to hunt , and my license is now opened , so its given me a bit more freedom .

Anyway , thats me , many thanks for taking the time to read , hope Ive not bored everybody to tears too much?

All the very best fellas .

Andy .

P.S. Sorry about the spelling!
