garyb
Can anyone here in the "trade" perform an MOT expiry check for me? I need a check done on a car i'm looking to buy, so therefore don't have all the details the VOSA site (www.motinfo.gov.uk/) require... but I do have the Reg! Basically i'm looking to validate the seller's claim that the car has a current MOT... (they lied about the tax ) Can anyone help? bennyblanco
The best I can do as a tester is tell you whether it has more than a month to run if you can give me the reg and the last six digits from the chassis No. before I leave for work tomorrow If they want to sell it to you than ask for the V5 ref no. and look up its history online ben

Mungler
Take a walk, there's plenty of motors for sale and there's those that will be on sale week. I buy second hand but "1 owner from new" cars. Why? Well people tend to look after what's theirs from new and what they have had to cough new retail money for. You find they actually bed the engines in, take the car back for it's first service, garage it etc etc. Indeed, yesterday I bought a "D reg" Merc 300 SEL, 1 owner from new, full MBZ dealer history, 2 key fobs with remote locking, T&T to September all the toys. £1500. Oh yes, we love a nice motor and a Billy bargain in Essex.
MC
Have you got bored of guns Mung? Or have you been hanging around with ME too long?
Mungler
Nope, I just couldn't say no to the car - I have no idea where it's going to go or what I am going to do with it. As it happens I have just bought a 10 bore semi auto and a 12g Beretta Silver Pigeon The missus is not happy.
MC
I have got room in my cabinet for a 10 bore auto if you need it. I promise I won't use it. Much
