Piling on the exam pressure earlier now are they?

The first exams to matter or cause any concern for my generation were GCSE's, or at a push SAT's.

We pretty much turned up for them, did them and never heard anything about them again.

If he ***** em up just assure him they don't mean anything :good:

Exams do matter though, if you just turn up and don't try for them you are limiting your options in the future. There are a lot of professions in this world and without the correct exam results you cannot do them.

Failing the 11+ isn't the end of the world though, just a good opportunity for the future.

I hope he isn't kept waiting too long and passes

i hope he dont have to wait long Martin.

Nothing worse then expecting something to turn up and it dont.

If its not arrived tomorrow you got a number too ring?

Whatever are kids do make us proud.

I think its grand too see a dad showing so much interest in his sons education.

I know plenty of Dads who wouldnt even know the results where due.

You have real famliy values Mr M :good:

Well, the post arrived this morning. Letter opened, and the tears started. Jack just missed out by 15 points. Gutted is an understatment. Good point is, he got the Catholic college he wanted, so not all bad. he has made a big effort, so ill be taking him shooting next weekend. <_< One thing that i see, its better to be top in one school that was second choice, than have to struggle in his first choice school. :P

His done well Martin bet your proud of him for putting the effort in.

Think your right about the struggling bit.

It has happen to the couple of my sons friends. One is even on tablets for the stress.

Maybe a takeaway of his choice might be a good idea. It always works with my boys <_<

WELL DONE YOUNG MAN

i always think a little disapointment dont do any harm .

It just give you that bit more of a edge for what you want to achieve.
