Exudate
**SOLD** I'm a regular contributor the the Rapid 7 Owners club forum , and I am selling my Zeiss Diatal 6x42 rifle scope. I thought this forum would generate more potential interest in such a scope. It’s 3 years old, in very good condition and I’m the original owner. Comes complete with Butler Creek flip-up scope caps. It’s been re-parallaxed by Zeiss for 30 yards to affinity, so it’s fine for air rifle use. It has a number 8 reticle, which resembles a 30/30, duplex affair. Please go to http://www.zeiss.de/C12567A80033F8E4/Co ... 7300451C05 and click on the link ‘All reticules’. I’m selling it because I want to buy a night vision scope. This item is also for sale on the Rapid 7 Owners club forum. £500 as a starting point. I'm open to offers! **Now £350 for this scope and Butler Creek flip-ups, sent via first class registered delivery. Please see my last post on this thread** This item has just gone on ebay, as of 16th March 2010. Edited March 24, 2010 by Exudate

Exudate
OK, I admit that I've just come on here to sell my scope. £500 is the starting price and of course I'll accept a good offer. You have to start somewhere. I've sold several items on the Rapid 7 Owners club forum and received good feedack from the buyers on each occasion. If what I've done on here is really that unacceptable then the admins can simply delete my post. Thank you.
Mungler
A fantastic saving of £12 from new! (optics warehouse) Steve LOL The guide to a second hand scope is about 60-65% of the new price.

Mungler
Alright then, I have just spent not 20 seconds Googling the scope and got this: http://www.swillingtonshootingsupplies.co....tal-6x42-Scope/ That's £485 brand spanking new with box and a WARRANTY which can be enforced against the shop and or manufacturer. So, I reckon your scope is worth at £300 at best maybe £350. Problem is, for £350 someone is currently flogging a S&B 8x56 on another stalking orientated forum - much better scope, magnification etc. Good luck with your sale. Obviously, in trying to flog a second hand scope for more than they are in the shops, well you will need more than luck.

Deerstalkerlunt
I agree with Mungler, £300. It would be a shame to put a Zeiss on a toy gun ( Air rifle)
Exudate
Since my tactic of starting at a high price and expecting people to haggle me down as a matter of course has caused some of the members undue concern (for which I sincerely apologise), I'll just cut to the chase and say that I'd happily accept £350 for this scope and Butler Creek flip-ups, sent via first class registered delivery. I've learned my lesson.
robsmyth
As you are looking for an NV scope, do you fancy a swop with Yukon NVRS-F Tactical 2.5 x 50, Gen I. Virtually un-used. With 80mw IR add-on.?? Regards, Rob.

al4x
If not get it on ebay, decent scopes seem to be making good money on there at the moment.
