stupidsalmon
What model lanber is that then? 12g? cheers SS
dunganick
12g sporter, the older model than the current mines a 30", and mikky's as he said is a 28" very reliable gun, only issue is broken firing pins (common on alot of guns) and the forend coming loose (due to poor assembly of forend in factory)
stupidsalmon
Dont mind if i ask nick but how much would one of them set you back and is there anywhere that i can view one on the internet??? Cheers SS
dunganick
i payed £380 including a gunslip and snap caps, this was from the chichester armory (note, do not deal with this gun shop, they are a bunch of liers, they sold my gun with a dodgy forend, and the guy who owns the shop tightened the screw (which turned out to be stripped) right infront of me and my dad and didnt care to mention it, got the part replaced for very little money, but out of my own pocket) i also held on my ticket the same model gun for a friend, who bought it for £260 in equally good condition to my own gun. place to look is http://www.guntrader.co.uk they normally have up to 60 lanber o/u's on there at anyone time ranging from lower models in the £220 range too the newest sporter going for about £700 website about the model: http://members.tripod.com/lanberusa/gun_fo.../model_2087.htm Edited October 30, 2005 by dunganick

HAMMY
Dunga, , How the hell did you and your old boy who profess to have copious amounts of gun knowledge, mangage to be sold a Mickey??????:) Hammy
dunganick
because we didnt go checking all the screws ourselves and just assumed common deacent honesty, as the guy in the shop had tightened the screw up, and as he mentioned it no further (despite it being stripped) we thought no more of it. the guy offered to have it fixed when we rang up and complained, but he was talking about a repair, not a brand new part, which is what i got in the end out of my own pocket, other than this the gun is great, wasnt really a lemon, was just not in hte condition described when sold
