Catamong
Well shot, cat sounds like quite a tough shoot. 10 stands on a hundred birder , well out of order. Are you sure you don't have some northern ancestry tucked away somewhere? from Auntie. Thanks Auntie, Yes, my Mum came from Newcastle Upon Tyne, but I've never ever been there, too far oop North, too cold and windy and far too many Geordies for my liking..! And as for Digweed screwing up, well apparently he dropped two midis on that stand over the lake that I straighted, but........he didn't miss too many others within 40 yards, and that's what it's all about, the only layout that will fool Diggy is one where there are umpteen mega long birds, he doesn't miss many inside 40 yards....................having said that, I watched him miss 2 driven minis at High Lodge last year, yet another stand I straighted..!! As for having FUN, yes, that's what it's all about, I always have much more FUN when I'm there or thereabouts on the leader board..........!! Cat. Chard
Well shot Cat I dislike 5 pair stands. More of a test of concentration than anything. Had you down for an 89 or 90 there chap See you Saturday
Catamong
Some early scores here: And here: Now, to put an end to all of the whinging by the Essex boys over a lack of good grounds in their area, JD told me he's going to organise fortnightly shoots at the ground next year, both Sporting and Compak, (Sportrap). From famine to feast..?? Cat.

Catamong
Apparently my 83 was good enough to win the Herts Sporting County Championship, I'm surprised nobody from Herts bettered it. Cat.

It could be that NOONE else from Herts shot it and you just won by default Seriously though well shot, I will have to get the wording on the tee shirts altered to "WE ARE NOT WORTHY"
Catamong
Seriously though well shot, I will have to get the wording on the tee shirts altered to "WE ARE NOT WORTHY" Thank you for your kind words. I first won that trophy back in 1985, (I think.. ), I beat Ian "Aggro" Payne in a shoot off at his own ground, (Valley View). Let's hope my current run of good form holds out until Saturday. Cat. MC
Does anyone know where the results will be posted? B class was won with a 66 so I reckon I can't be that far behind and also Bazza should have won C class. Cheers Martin

Bigweed
Nothing on CPSA web site - so assume wasn't registered after all.
paulos
It was a CPSA County Championship so it has to be registered. They are probably just late getting the results up.
Bigweed
Thought they had to be returned within 10 days
Chard
Thought they had to be returned within 10 days Yes, they say 10 days We shot a registered at Kingsley Moor on 23rd May and the scores aren't up yet. That's the same weekend isn't it? Perhaps the CPSA have got behind due to the new classifications or something
paulos
Could be the ground or could be the CPSA that are late. Patience Glasshopper. Edited June 3, 2010 by paulos
Catamong
I keep on telling you guys....................you don't know the ground owner, he's always late putting the scores in. Be patient, they will appear................................eventually. Cat.
