Heladoxa
If you turn up with a baseball cap back to front you will soon feel why it is necessary to wear a flat cap. You don't want to be an oik, do you?

Imperfection
You could try wearing a Burberry flatcap if you dont want to go the whole traditional route. Its Chavtastic!

goldeneye243
If I am going to get one, which ones are best for keeping you dry?
JonnyR
Get a hat with a brim. It'll stop the rain from running down the back of your neck. Oh, and get a flat cap too - it is compulsory.

burntout
If I am going to get one, which ones are best for keeping you dry? I've had two, a cheap £5 jobby from the Anglian Game Fair and a £35 Failsworth. The Failsworth is far superior and a cracking cap - got a "duotex" layer or something which makes it waterproof. I rather enjoy wearing it an can regularly seen donning it when going for a drive! (I'm only 27 btw, so even the youngish can wear 'em!) (I'm only 27 btw, so even the youngish can wear 'em!) One of the reasons I am reluctant to get one is the link between the flat cap and the slow moving Morris Metro - I have noticed a strong correlation. I am concerned that it will remove my ability to drive over 40mph. I will get one and report back...

goldeneye243
Got my certificate through on Friday. Was in the gun shop yesterday and accidentally left with a Winchester SX3. I also got a flat cap as it does appear to be compulsory. It is a Hoggs one......
