Doc Holliday Posted April 28, 2010 Report Share Posted April 28, 2010 (edited) Heard this on the news this morning coming in so looked it up on the local bbc web site. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/kent/8648011.stm Who on earth, other than this bloke, sets off in a boat with nothing other than a road atlas? :thumbs: Still, it made me chuckle. But what I don't get is, if he did keep sailing round the island in circles, how he didn't twig when he must have kept passing the same bridge and also with the kent coast on his left hand side. Maybe he thought it was the channel crossing & france Surely... oh well, never mind. The mind boggles. He is on first name terms with the lifeboat crew as he has never made it much further than Felixstowe. Quite why people do it I don't know.
