Redgum
Unless you are loading magnum cartridges for wildfowling its not worth it. As a child I loaded 1000's of 12 gauge cartridges for my father, in those days ( late 60's to mid 70's ) it was cheaper to homeload and you could cheaply play around with loads. I still have the press etc. Now its much cheaper to buy them ready made unless as I say they are specialist wildfowling loads.

Windknot
Scales, Reloading press (there was a Lee Load-All II in the classifieds recently), hulls, wads, primers, powder, reloading manual, and the time to read and heed said manual. Redgum
Just had a look at the reloading supply company's websites, the margins have narrowed but its still cheaper to buy em ready made. The cheapest solution is to save up or go in with somebody and buy em by the 1000 cos buyin by the box is daylight robbery. I buy em by the 1000 and sell a few off ta mates at cost, makes it cheaper for me and them,( they have to produce their licenses of course to do so). As the main cost rises have been with lead I don't think there will ever be a time again when it will be cheaper to reload pigoen carts. sitsinhedges
Nice one siting in hedges,I figure about the same on my .410 reloads It has to be said though, from a financial perspective, that reloading standard clay loads is futile even if you get the lead for free. Something special about shooting well with your own ammo though, especially if you have made the shot too
