molly1
Hi Can any one help me to find the right paint to repaint my plastic decoys as they are looking a bit shabby. Many thanks Molly Edited May 5, 2010 by molly1
Imperfection
I used normal celulose grey primer for the base colour and white primer for round the neck etc-its matt which is the important bit.Available from Halfords and any good car shop! chrispti
I gave up painting my decoys and got some jackets for them instead http://www.ukshootwarehouse.com/shop/SILLO...UV+JACKETS.html Edited May 5, 2010 by chrispti
Fuddster
Another vote for grey car primer-dont forget to add white tabs at the neck-really helps them stand out cheers fudd
henry d
Remember that the rump of a woodpigeon is a bluer shade of grey and very visible to others !
Nial
Also, when pigeon's are feeding you don't normally see their wing bars so we probably shouldn't paint them on (although I did). It might be an idea to do them 50/50 with and without wing bars? Tipex is good for the white bits! Nial.
