Indeed they are, i was in the shop talking to the agent who is supplying our local shop. Top quality glass and good price too. Ordered one for my HMR ( i can then put my leopold back on my Annie). wymberley
Hi, Yep, real value for your money. Got mine from the BX at Weisbaden (spelling?) so even better value. The wide angle range is superb for quick target aquisition. Cheers
John_R
I think Leupold only got involved relatively recently.

I'm sorry, mate, I cant remember. I don't know if there's a smaller one just for the unit, but this was the massive one serving all of the US forces. I'm probably out of order now, but at the time it seemed to me that the shooting, fishing and sports area was bigger than your average Tesco. Picked up a Remington 700 BDL as well. wacker
Wiltshire rod and gun stock them. The guy who runs it is called Tony, he should be able to sort you out - say Craig recommended him.
Vince Green
Most well known named scopes are made to a sufficient standard that quality is not really an issue. Preferences may be a different matter but even the very cheap ones are unbelievably good for most applications. The very top names do come in better at the extremes such as dusk or very cold weather but I have made a life time choice to use the cheaper scopes ( not really having the funds to spend £1000 on a scope) and have never been disappointed. bavarianbrit
Hi, They are good bits of kit. I bought two 3-9x50s and have been very happy with one of them on my .243 but I had not had time to fit the second to my .17hmr and I have since sold the .17 rifle due to a job change. So if anyone wants one absolutely new in box scope 1 inch diameter tube with a 4 plex reticle and I do fully guarentee it is unused and it comes with the usual leupold/redfields lifetime guarentee for £245 delivered to uk mainland. martin Edited July 13, 2010 by bavarianbrit
