Albertan_J
Just wondering what seats everyone is using in the hide? I've destroyed two in the past week so need something built to last.
fluke2
Im using one of the framed fishing bags with the fold out chair built in,they tend to be built to last, my mate uses a heavy plastic home brew bin with the pull off lid he fitted a strap and cushion to it and fills it with the pigeons. kaiser1977
Just wondering what seats everyone is using in the hide? I've destroyed two in the past week so need something built to last. I use a bucket with one of those swivel lids, a great bit of kit. The fold down stools I found to be a chore as getting a level bit of ground in the hide never happens!! daz2202
i have one of the cooler box seats with a back rest, it also swivvels. very comfortable and exellent for keeping cold drinks in. only one downside is that it is quite awkward to carry long distance. Highlander
Depends whether you prefer shooting sitting down or standing up. Personally I shoot better standing so like a higher seat which you’ll never get with all the framed stools/chairs which in any event never seem to last the course. Use a barrel (also useful for carrying kit) or the site sponsors do a very good, strong, adjustable shooting stick type seat that IMO can’t be beat. ballybricken
Well whilst ratching int' loft for camping gear found a pair of 3 legged stools so im gonna give these a try tomorrow afternoon see how they are, that failing i might have to treat myself to one of these buckseat they seem popular. I shoot standing so its just something to park my fat **** on whilst hiding out of view.

hedge hunter
Hi mate, i used to always use the 3 legged stool, only problem i found is that its hard to find level ground to use the stool, also u can sometimes find yourself going a bit lop sided as the induvidual legs start to sing into the ground, which as i know can be very unsafe as u suddenly stand or move a little to quickly to take a shot and over you go lol, its after 1 or 2 times of this i dicided to buy the spin bucket and have never looked back since, cheers HH

UKPoacher
When I don't have far to walk I'll take a fishing chair with reclining backrest and adjustable feet. It's perfect if you don't count the weight. If I'm walking far I'll take a folding camping chair and level the ground with a folding shovel. My mate used to shoot for England and is paranoid about having a level footing so most of the hides are level anyway.
