ricky green
there have bin some signs of the old rats around my pheasant pen..i could see that there is one run from a big old tree about two yards away running and the wire.so decided to put a snare in there to see if it was possible to catch one init,so set it last night out of a bit of old electric fence wire,as that was all there was to hand.whent back down this morning and found this little fella waiting to meet his maker. that wont be eating any more of my corn.. Alpha Mule
He looked well fed. You have to wonder just how much he and his family have pinched from you. Well done on the improvised snare!

Teal
Are you running it as a spring snare? I have found rats will readily chew through wire to get themselves out.
