Ferretboy111
Hello all; Just to let you know that my liver and white springer spaniel bitch 'Truffle' gave birth to 13 puppies yesterday- it was a long day believe me. She has had 7 bitches and 6 dogs- both parents are kc reg and their pedigrees are full of FTCH's so im looking forward to what they turn out like. They are off to get docked on Monday. I think I may be having my hands full- this is her frst litter and she is 3 years old. Many thanks Alex

al4x
lovely litter, you've got your work cut out keeping the bitch ok though fingers crossed but may be worth getting some puppy milk replacer just in case you run into trouble. Nice amount of colour on some of the pups, that seems to be getting rarer these days

ollie
Unusual for a first litter to be so big. My bitch had a litter just over a year ago and she only had 3. Your bitch looks very happy and it's nice to see so many pups with good markings, don't like springers with too much white on them. Good luck

Ferretboy111
Cheers for all the comments guys- mum and pups are all doing well. I've spoken to my vet about it and she said that aslong as the bitch is being fed the correct stuff there shouldn't be any need to hand feed the puppies. I'm just keeping an eye on them all and will intervene if need be. So far so good though. :-) Cheers Alex
