Shotgunspud
Just keeping in mind that we have shot this golf course hard all summer so far, the last 2 times we shot it we had 138 3 weeks ago and 119 2 weeks ago, 2 back to back hundreds on the same course, We started the night having to set up a new buggy as are old one was out of action we ended up with a petrol ground hog (bit on the noisy side) which is not ideal but a 3rd class drive is better then a 1st class walk!!! to top things off there was a lot of golfers still playing so we couldn’t get going till 8:30ish so had a chat and a drive round looking to see what a good job we have done in controlling the numbers or not before shooting,,,,, within 3 holes we must of seen 40 plus rabbits sunning them self's I said to Daz this is becoming a joke is doesn't even look like we have shot it.. Every whole the same rabbits tons of them, we got stared about 8:30ish Daz shooting with the back of the hog full in no time back to the cars to empty!! my go next again back of the hog full in no time. Making our way back when Daz saw a fox shut the hog down and got ready lamp on and it was about 80 yards away which yes in range but I like to get them right in with the .22 rim (yes I have fox on my licence) and there are shoots next door so the foxes get shot as well, so a very soft squeak and it came in like a train I had to stop it at 30yards with a OH!!! And click down it went between the eyes well it would of if I had of loaded the rifle!!! What a ***!!!!! so very slowly go a round out of my pocket into the clip loaded up and pop down it went this time!!! Picked it up this year's cub, Daz still taking the Mick out of me on the way back as he dose!! he spotted another one this time loaded with a big dog fox looking at me about 40yards away pop between the eyes down it went 2 within 150yards apart got back to the cars knowing we had gone over the 1,000 but needing 17 more for the100 for the night, Daz shooting went for the last run round getting them and more in no time, we ended the night with 115 rabbits and 2 foxes taking us to1064 rabbits so far with 886 being shot on this course which is hard to believe but is true lads... This takes us to 1064 And just for 12borejimbo we did see the black rabbit well two in fact one ran off with out getting shot at!!! and well one of us missed the one we got a shot at, not being one too grass anyone up but it wasn't me that missed!!!!!! Shotgunspud
Thanks for the reply even yours Daz #### head. All the rabbits go to the zoo every one of them trust me you don’t feel like eating one when your shot that many. Daz a bet is a bet I did say to 12borejimbo we would get a black and a white one, so yes you are a plumb!!!! Lads Daz is very good at the one’s 40 yards out to 100yards but anything less than 40yards lives to see another day.

mick miller
Well done, have you put your rabbit totals here yet? Every little helps .... I'll be interested to find out when you start to get a handle on the numbers on that course, it must have more holes in it than a loofah.
