where can i get some of those things that hold the dead pigeon decoys head up?cant find them anywhere

Just make you own. Barbeque sticks work well, or even a few hazel sticks that you can cut yourself..

Dead bird cradles support the whole bird. I think he wants something to hold the head up when the bird is placed on the ground. Dead bird cradles can be easily made too.

Just used Barbeque sticks they work fine, put them in a tube light to carry, , and if you do leave one in the field no harm done, your farmer will not be pleased if he gets some thing in his harvester

BBQ sticks are all you need and as said it doesn't matter if you leave then in the field they will cause no damage to machinery... :blink:

Kebab sticks, BBQ sticks anything like that will do just stick under birdies chin and into ground hey presto (my Tommy Cooper impression) job done!

Green garden canes too, you can use whole ones if you need the bird up high, or cut them down to whatever size you want.

Or just use a hedge and your knife
