hamish64
Is it advisable to lubricate magazines, standard Ruger 1022,butler creek etc, after cleaning. Or is it better not to. I had thought of graphite powder
Scully
The only thing I,ve ever done with a rotary magazine such as those in Rugers is adjust the tension with an allen key.I've never cleaned /lubricated mine and it still works as good as ever after 15 years.I think once you start adding what is basically a fluid to a sealed unit you're attracting all sorts of dust, grit etc.But someone more knowledgeable than me may advise otherwise. paulos
I don't lubricate magazines. I find it makes it much more difficult to turn the pages.
Beretta28g
I don't lubricate magazines. I find it makes it much more difficult to turn the pages. You know things are bad when you have sticky magizines.
Slug
When I was at the range the other night doing Mini-Rifle one of the more experienced shooters with a custom built jobby was putting Talc on his rounds.. He seemed to think they cycled better even though Lr rounds normally come waxed up..

njc110381
I used to use drylube in mine. I certainly wouldn't use oil because you'll get all sorts of muck stuck in it!
