steve_b_wales
The man above has now released his second book on Fox shooting. I saw it advertised this morning in this months Sporting Shooter magazine @ £32.50, which I think is a bargain. I'm ordering mine when I get in from work tonight. steve_b_wales
here's a link to buy it from Coch-y-Bonddu (probably the best field sports book dealer there is)...http://www.anglebooks.com/product.php/26953/going-foxing- This really is a good book dealer to purchase from. However, with postage, the book will cost £33.00, which is an extra 50p ( ) not much I know. I've just ordered directly with the author himself (or at least his company) Either way, I/you will be getting an excellent book.

Dekers
So, a few years on from the definitive book of foxing there is enough missed out, forgotten, or unknown at the time for a second to put the record straight. Yes, I have read the first and learnt a little, I think, but there was noting earth shattering in it, buy a dodgy gun, get the land and against all the advice of H&S learn to hold and fire a rifle in one hand whilst holding a lamp in the other....... Yes, I'm a cynical old boy as is pretty well known, and I wish I had written and published them, well done Robert, that will help pay the bills, look forward to the next in a few years ATB!! garyb
Anyone got a copy? Is it worth a read ?
Highlander
RB publishes his own book/s as none of the established publishing houses will take them on. His first book is a good read from one who’s been there, done it and got the T Shirt. His second, well who yet knows but I’ll read it never the less as no matter how old, grumpy and decrepit I get there’s always something new to learn from others. And to those who knock people like RB I’ll say this...he’s not dreamed about doing it, he’s not talked about doing it, he’s not wished he was doing it, he’s not sat at some computer discussing the be all and end all of it, he’s gone and b***** done it! Well said that man. If you don't like his books, then don't read them! I'm still waiting for mine. The cheque was sent off awhile ago, but it has not been 'cashed'.
