Air Pro Decoys

looking to get a couple of these to bolster the growing Deek collection ... lol

 

they look really good on the bouncers and also seen them on a magnet (courtesy of Youtube)

 

Anyone use these on a regular basis

they're ok, but you're better off with Hyperflaps, i've got both so can speak from experience.

I always swap to dead birds as soon as i've shot a couple though as nothing works as well as them.

Even though i've double checked i have my air-pro's set up properly, and had them checked at a gunshop mine only work in fairly windy conditions, but hypaflaps will work with almost all wind conditions

you have to paint the wings - there's a thread about it somewhere on here

Tried mine on a bouncer with a bit of success but they seemed to work better on a rotary, found they often shyed away at the last minute though so i'm with everyone else who states the real thing is better.......both on a magnet or bouncer

I bought some of these not long after they were released; I sold them about 6 months later, I used then on a magnet but more often than not they turned pigeons away, and I can’t remember them ever doing any good in my pattern. They look the bis but for me that’s all they do

It was me that painted them mate, sprayed the white parts gray, leaving a white bar.

 

After some more trials, they still never worked.

My air pros are noisy, They 'brrrrr' as the "propeller wings" turn. Im sure this puts some birds off (thats my excuse anyway.) I replace them on the magnet with dead birds at the first opportunity. I then take the wings off the air pros and add them to the pattern.

as I have said before they are great for the allotment bring the ferals in a treat! ( what doesn't) there are better efforts in decoying out there

i bought a pair off someone on here now i no why he sold them.....

I took the wings of mine and mounted them on a rod and use them as lofters,absolutely useless on a magnet.

If you have a second magnet pop the 2 air pros on that and put it at the other end of the field.Happy days.
