new to the flock
Has anyone had a chance to be out fishing open water yet? I'm still fishing perch throught the ice, probably be at least another 2-3 weeks till ice out, then it will be on to spring perch, spring cats and crappies. Can't wait I think I've had enough of the snow for this winter. Besides I would like to work the dogs on some field grass again.

Cranfield
We have had a stiff Northerly or Easterly wind all of this week. Neither will tempt me to go fishing. The North wind is too cold and everyone knows, fish feed the least, when the winds in the East.
supergame
Would like to have gone trout fishing tomorrow, but as Cranfield said the winds in the east and we all know that the fish bite least. It looks like I'll just have to keep tying flies until the weather warms up a bit.
