peejay
tried a n/v on my rimfire. actually put it on at the weekend, but wouldnt try it on live quarry till tonight, ive been getting used to the distances by using 2inch pieces of hi vis jacket material as judging distances by n/v i find harder than by using a lamp. anyway i decided to go out tonight where i have permission on some fields that have short grass. got these 7 for 10 shots within 1/2 hour! happy to say 5 head shots and 2 upper body shots.. ranges were from 30 yds to 55 yds... scope is a Trident gen 2 with 6x mag... and my bruno .22 rimmy... cant wait till i get to the couple of golf courses i have permission on at week end.. Luckyshot
Nice piece of kit mate, I have a gen 1 add on for my rimfire's to use in any sensitive areas but much prefer to use the lamp as nv to me takes all the fun out of it although it wasn't as easy as I thought when I first got it, judging the distances on a pitch black night isnt very easy unless you have some kind of markers set out. Each to their own of course will work wonders in a heavily rabbit populated area good luck on the golf course

steve_b_wales
Excellent. I have a Cobra Merlin attached to my scope/s with a Blazerlite lamp/IR filter for extra 'light'.
