Hi all,

I shoot this field a lot last year numbering 23 foxes off of it all by calling and moving points, it’s about 120A and is a good bit off ground to cover with 2 shoots each side of it… Went with Daz it was his first time seeing the 22.250 hit home think his eyes were opened, had these 3, 1st 85yards/ 2nd160yards/ 3rd 70yards. It was a spot on night covered a lot in 2 hours!! Saw 3-4 more for next time.

Nice shooting, was it windy as anything round you last night?

We had a good look about and it was blowing a gale, picked up one of the lamp shy ones I'd been after for ages, 200 yards in a gale with a fox walking away from you is very satisfying to flatten it

al4x,

No gale with me mate, Nice shooting 200yards with a gale well done.

good night tho, bit more walking than we are used to....but for a two hour stint it was excellent...

i dont think that al mentined that as i was off doing my retriever impersonation in one direction , Al got the third still coming in to the initial call at 90 degrees from me...great night..which i nearly called of as it was persisting it down in my village...

still looks like we is on the geese this weekend ...more good pics to come
