Sussexboy
No contest. MSA Sordin Supreme Pro X 'cause that's what I've got. They are pricey, pay bonuses from work are a wonderful invention.

They are pricey, pay bonuses from work are a wonderful invention. I have the same and like them. There is a test of ear defenders here I have also heard good things about the Howard Leight lightweights, but I have not tried them myself
JonnyR
I love mine - waterproof battery compartment and you can plug an ipod or walkie talkie in.

Mungler
I have tried most and still reckon the Peltor sportacs are probably the best £ for £ EDIT: The slim line ones are the best, else you will look like Stevie Wonder from the 70's singing Ebony and Ivory. steve_b_wales
Napier Pro 9, or even better, Pro 10. These are excellent, lightweight and comfortable. The Pro 10 are excellent for rifle shooting.
pigglet
No contest. MSA Sordin Supreme Pro X 'cause that's what I've got. They are pricey, pay bonuses from work are a wonderful invention. I found the MSA's were the only ones that I could wear comfortably without them fouling the combe du to them being slimmer than the others. They are basically mil spec so very tough too. Another bonus is that on the highest volume setting it's like having bionic ears and you can hear birds and beaters a long time before the MK1 lug picks them up

JT1
What ever you choose, get the very best you can afford, preserving your hearing for under £250 is a bargain.
