bullet boy
I as a lifelong Liverpool supporter,am firstly glad that Hicks and Gillett are no longer Liverpool Football Club owners! They had no intention to build a new stadium and spend money etc!All they wanted was to make money and had no interest whatsoever in the love of the Club!Their love was money,so it`s good riddance to bad rubbish! I hope John Henry of NESV-the new owner of the most successful British football club, really has the club at heart and not the same interest as the other Liars in money!!!! Hopefully Mr.Henry will get us back in the Glory Days. Im happy anyway!

manxman2
red necks. I was hoping my beloved QPR would be playing them next season, but it looks like we will be swapping leagues not shirts. manxman2
 its either pick an english club here BB, or support your local team, a team ive played for many times, Malew afc. I live right by the club now. Q.P.R.s kit/shirts grabbed me as a kid when they won the milk/league cup many moons ago as a 3rd division club against WBA, coming back from 2.0 down at half time, did it again against man c aswell. iwhilst in the 3rd division if memory serves, but it was along time ago now, never could shake my interest in the Rs off tho. been to anfield many times with the lads from MALEW footie, stood in the kopend getting quashed against the rails, not fun, but mainly we were seated, goodison aswell. Watched QPR beat your lot 3.1 at anfield in the liverpool glory days, that has to be 20 years ago. Hey mate no offense fella as QPR in my book are a sleeping giant with a great history!I remember the older players in Stan Bowles and Gerry Francis. I'm sure one day QPR will be back in the bigtime. Fatcatsplat
It was interesting watching the tv footage - gave a whole new meaning to the phrase "cold dead eyes". Having said all that i've just come back from Boston and they seem happy enough with him

Willxx
http://newsarse.com/2010/10/06/liverpool-t...eyside-red-sox/ I liked the one in the paper yesterday about Liverpool being renamed The Hubcap Steelers! And the new stadium the San Giro Stadium I had to laugh when I saw the usual "Man U fans dont some from Manchester" line brought up - OP is from S Wales and Man U critic is in Notts, hardly scousers on the doorstep in Toxteth

bullet boy
liverpool have made a bid for Rooney after he said he wanted to play in a different league next season. I think he'll go to City as they are more ambitious than Utd and it now seems they are the No.1 club in Manchester now!
docholiday
which ever way you look at it. Liverpool are a pile of doggy do. shame really used to like them doc
Devon Fox
Sorry BB - but that is total ****! If you mean more money - agree More ambition ? carp! We have a very young squad, hopefully a few will make the grade - thats the way we have always done things with the occasional big player brought in, nobody could go out and buy like City or Chelski - its just unreal. Wright us off at your peril - We WILL be a top 4 side for a year or two, you cant dominate for ever - just ask the Scousers!
