Frenchieboy
I saw one of these on my recent travels, they really are called a "Bleeding heart pigeon", you can see why. I have sen these at Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust in the Tropical House but never in the wild. I am sure that you are right but i always thought that they were called Bleeding Heart Doves rather than Pigeons but I could be wrong - I usually am! Either way they are a strange looking bird and the red spot in the centre of the breats would make a perfect spot to place the crosshairs on for a sure fire kill!
