CZ550Kevlar
No stipulations, however i would think too many times and they may ask questions. At least i hope so.
webber
As far as I'm aware there is no limit. The referee must have known you for at least 2 years, and must not make a charge for providing the reference, this generally rules out your GP. webber
steve_b_wales
I've used my local vicar to sign mine for three applications (15 years) Never had a problem.

Billy.
why please. I think if someone is genuinely refereeing load and loads of forms, I think the FLD might be concerned that they're either doing it for cash, or just that they never say a bad word. I can see where you are coming from but consider the situation of a club official such as myself, who HAS to provide references for members, all of them! This being the case I am also quite often asked to provide refereces for others to ATB!!

I'm on about a person who isn't a club official
vulpicide
I have acted as a referee quite a number of times with no problem I have also acted as a referee for some of the farmers whose land I shoot on and I use the same criteria all the time. Would I feel safe with this person standing behind me with a loaded gun if the answer is no I couldnt act as a referee. I have in the past arranged for guns to accompany foxhounds and I am secretary of a working terrier club and I have no problems when acting as a referee as most of the visiting officers know me.
