All boiled up removed left over meat an sinu ready to bleach been to superdrug an got the above but how long should it be covered in bleach for?

 

 

About a day should be enough. Really, you can leave it on until it is the colour you want it to be.

This may be a bit late but I use plain old bleach on mine, and it does the job just fine.

 

I put a fair amount in the water, when I do the second boil, but just simmer the head, with the antlers clear, not that that's a problem with a doe.

Great shooting! I'm sure that one will stick in your memory for quite a while, I pleased for you - Mind you I'm jelous as hell too as I am still waiting for my variation to come through so I can get my .243 from the RFD and start usaing a "real rifle"!

I'm new to this deer malarky but would any of the people more qualified in meat inspection say whether its a good idea to eat a deer with a growth like that? best case its a tumour but couldn't it be related to an old infection / injury which to me would make the meat less than appealing.

there is a lot of people on this site that i would not even let them have a pea shooter IE pricks with a camra why is it that when you lot shoot an anaimal you all need to put the picture on here of the damage that your guns make .im not against shooting i am a gamekeeper my self but would never put i would put pictures of every thing i shoot on here

 

...cant see any picture here 'of the damage that your guns make'...can see a picture of the growth that was found which i would say is a reasonable photo? most on here seem to get the balance right between posting or not posting photos...unlike some forums.

Have i missed something here for you to be calling me a "***** with a camera" do you know me to call me this?

 

there are no distasteful pictures of any damage my rifle made or injuries to the deer, just a picture of a cancerous growth and my ugly mug!!!

 

I have had a memorable moment and taken a picture to remember it and wanted to share it with others on here and other forums i am on.

 

If you dont like looking at pictures or reading about peoples hunting trips then dont come on here reading and looking at them just to leave unnecessary comments about people you dont know.

there seems to be more and more people on here out to ruin peoples good times and it makes you think is it worth coming on here to see it all the time let alone receive it for doing nothing wrong.
