Folding Decoys

Hi there.

 

New into pigeon shooting.

 

Does anyone use folding decoys.

 

Just been offered some are they any good.

i prefer shell decoys myself

but yes they will work if you present them well

Most woodpigeons will react to some movement, if the folding deeks move due to wind or other power, get them, if they don`t.............don`t

I use FUDS, quite like them but I think they are quite dark and not sure they show up that well in tallish crops. They worked really well on some drillings a few weeks back though.

I use a mix at the moment..6 Fuds,,and 12 shell decoys, Mix them up in the (horseshoe pattern)Works for me,,.Good luck m8,.

Movement is good, but dead birds on cradles generally don't move either, and they work. Movement isn't essential. A friend of mine uses static dead birds only, and shoots more pigeons than anyone else i know.

i have some sillo socks, but im shooting on rape and only useing 6 full body pigeons,they come to one part of the field and no were else.they will come down to any kind of decoys if they want food.
