Marc M
Probably not worth much at all, technology advances at such a rate a product 18 months old is considered ancient. Especially when you consider brand new units (with 12 months warranty) with similar spec can be had for around £400 from the likes of Staples and various online retailers. roblade
What are the specs? just looking at processor speed, ram, hard driveGibby was wondering the same thing. as if its a top spec machine it could be worth a bit more than that, but if its a lower spec machine it could be worth a little less :look: what processor is it? 1.5Ghz or faster or slower? what ram? (256 or 512 or more?) what size hard disk is it? does it have dvd rw+/- All the above wil make a difference in the price. does it have xp pro or XP home installed with key code sticker fitted on underside? whats the battery life like? (3+hours, 2+ hours or 30min+) might be interestead. ROB :look: ps if its had a fresh install of windows, are all the drivers reinstalled? and does it come with any other software apart from windows? plexer
Well the spec states the processor is 1.5GHz ~ 2.1GHz so it's at least 1.5ghz. At least 40gb hard drive, sheesh I'd say it's good for £250 Ben
roblade
Specification CPU Intel Pentium M 1.5GHz ~ 2.1GHz (2MB/1MB L2 Cache) this is for a current uptodate model not a unit 18 months old, i would assume. ICPM 1.3GHz ~ 1.5GHz (1MB L2 Cache ) whats this mean??? LCD Panel 15.0" XGA / SXGA+/ UXGA uessing there are different screens, which one is fitted??? Base Memory TWO 200pin SO-DIMM Slots for 128/256/512MB/1GB 128mb ram-2GB ram, thats a HUGE difference!!!!! Optical Drive DVD-ROM / Combo / DVD Dual (12.7mm Height) variouse dirve types, is this model DVD rw +/- HDD 40GB / 60GB / 80GB should we take a guess? not that HDD size really matters as 80 quid can get you an external 250GB HDD which is perfect for use at home. I mean no disrespect but there are a lot of things that could effect the price in the buyers favour as well as in favour of ant.mass. ROB :look: ps also details about battery life, windows version and software would help a lot
plexer
I would guess it's not DVD-RW as it only says combo drive.
