Cookiemonsterandmerlin.
Today was first day of a two week rabbit control blitz on a local estate . First bit of snow for us in oxfordshire but nowt to put us off. Bit slow but we are clearing some of the outer hedgerows first working our way into the main rabbit problem area. Finnished with 21 and out with the lamp and gun tonight. Cheers OTH

Ferret Master
Can't fault that! How much snow is up your way? I've noticed the numbers are down on my patches of land compared to the past few years! Maybe I'm too efficient. FM

FM FM we had very little only 2cms at the most I think numbers are generally down in our area. excellent bag how many are out there on the estate I have seen 300/400 out lamping but due to some problems with houses footpaths it makes them impossable to shot with the rimmy only shotgun possable in couple of choose places. pestbry
OTH have you considered a pcp air rifle with or without NV for them places you can't use the rimmy? You'll be surprised how affective a pcp can be Just a suggestion Good going thou Bry Edited November 30, 2010 by pestbry
