M ROBSON
It is perfectly legal to sell your shot quarry as long as you don't process it in any way. If you are selling "dressed out" Rabbits to your local butcher you will require the following, Game dealers licence, Registered and inspected larder and processing area, Refrigerated transport to deliver meat to your butcher. If you don't have the above then I'm afraid YOU are breaking the law. Best to sell in the feather or fur!

The Duncan
Rabbits sell for £1 each to our butchers in the jacket. Not a lot really, unless I'm shooting hundreds, they are worth far more to my family as meat than £1 a body. Mrs D's all time fave meal is rabbit stew and she isn't saying it to rub my rhubarb. Free range meat that we treat like organic chicken Edited January 15, 2011 by The Duncan
tomhw100
our game dealer doesnt take drawn rabbits incase of contamination. So he takes them with the guts in for 35p waste of time rather eat them all myself!. Plus if we shoot rabbits on a hot morning in summer and he doesnt get them to the end of the day- mmmmmm stinky rabbit
