wildfowler.250
Good shooting I have shot 5 partridge and 3 woodcock with the HMR this season all between 60 to 80yds. I really wouldn't bother shooting partridge with the HMR never mind woodcock. try shooting them flying with a shotgun.....

Ireland's Finest!
I have shot 5 partridge and 3 woodcock with the HMR this season all between 60 to 80yds. You must be having the craic? Why would anyone want to shoot game birds with a rifle
Ballymac
I thought there was a voluntary restriction on? I know the majority of people around this area are not shooting even the local clubs that are feeding the birds.

Ballymac
Checked on BASC website the restriction is for Scotland and N.Ireland not England. So you can shoot away just hope shooters in N.Ireland are restricting themselves voluntarily. If we have these conditions for another few days then we will be facing a compulsory ban.
