The Essex Hunter
I have cut two sets out of the woods I shoot through,Cost Zero! No point in giving the importers a profit! nice and strong and if you need to beat a few brambles down just the job! However if you like the idea of washing poles and plastic sticks well that is the way forward TEH
EMcC
Green Electric fencing post from Scats, I can't remember what they cost but it is around £10 for six. They are plastic with a metal stake and hooks to attach your net, there are two sizes 3ft and 4.6" the tallest are the best.

steve_b_wales
I used various home made, and Wilkinson poles for years, then went and bought the 'proper' ones. Expensive but well worth the money. After using them for the very first time, I wished I had bought them years before.
deejay
I used the wilkos too ....I stuck some heavy duty screws in the bottom of them so even if the ground was frozen or hard I could screw them in I still have them but have the proper hide poles too now .....
