Dangerous Brian
Hi all, This topic has probably been covered before but I thought it might help someone who has their gun cabinet attached to a cold wall or similar area where condensation can build up. I bought a couple of rechargable dehumidifiers off Ebay to keep the guns nice and dry over the winter and they seem to be doing a great job (dropped one in with the cartridges too). Haven't found any trace of damp in there yet, even after this last lot of cold weather. In previous years condensation has been a bit of a problem. Fingers crossed............ sitsinhedges
Salt attracts moisture, you could try an open container of that if you're tight like me When it becomes wet just dry it out in the oven.

MM
I located the central heating pipes, and fixed mine over the area. Nice and warm
J@mes
I fitted a 14W reptile heater pad in mine and that has been fine - my cabinet was seriously damp during last years snow due to the attic space not being able to breath, but this solved it.
